WHAT IS ICON PERFORMING ARTS?
ICON Performing Arts is an educational and community-based arts concept that was born out of our mission statement to produce quality performance opportunities for young people and to use the performance arts to make a positive impact on young people and our community as a whole.
There are four main areas that constitute ICON Performing Arts.
1. ICON Arts - Our centerpiece arts program that fuses the three main performing arts disciplines of Acting, Voice and Dance into one dynamic and interactive after-school program. ICON Arts is flexible and open to be hosted by local schools or community organizations. We can bring the program to you. We are currently conducting ongoing sessions at Rosa Parks Elementary in Eastvale, CA and at The Young Americans headquarters in Corona, CA.
2. Community Performances - We welcome opportunities to produce shows and events in local communities and for community organizations. In most cases, we showcase the talented young people that have participated in our workshops and other events.
3. Community Support - Our talented staff is always open to working with schools, companies, civic groups and arts organizations in a collaborative fashion on projects, events and shows. Need choreographers, directors, ideas or support? Just give us a shout!
4. Special Projects - We produce Seasonal Camps, Workshops, Concerts and Events including summer performing arts camps and winter holiday stage shows and dinner theaters.
Workshop Classes usually take place weekly over an 8 to 10-week period.
But our programs can be condensed or expanded to meet your needs if you wish to host one at your location or for your organization.
Our staff is available to assist with your summer camp programs, choir camps and competitions or any school and community productions or programs.
